Have you ever notice that every time any of the demobots get up to talk about the Health Care bill, they always have some kind of sob story about someone who knows someone who knows someone whose second cousin's son-in-law's mom died because she didn't have health insurance? Do you ever wonder if they are telling you the whole story? Something tells me that there is a lot more to it than is revealed.
But let me get to my point. Meet Donna Simpson. She seems like any other woman. Her and her two kids live in New Jersey with her boyfriend. The only problem is that she weights almost 700 lbs. and has a goal to reach half a ton! She eats over 12,000 calories a day in pursuit of this goal. Surprisingly, Donna doesn't have health insurance. Meaning that under the health bill, whenever something happens to her, which will, the taxpayers would have to foot the bill. We're talking stroke, heart attack, heart disease, breathing problems, congestive heart failure, diabetes, and even inflammation of heart tissue. Experts say she is putting herself at risk for all these medical conditions, and those conditions have a hefty price tag.
So, it's funny that the demobots always have a sob story ready to go when necessary, but they never tell you about the Donna Simpsons of the world. They never tell you about the illegal aliens that already get free health care when citizens have to pay for theirs, and their own. They never tell you about the homeless people who get free rides in ambulances every night just to go to the hospital and get a free hot meal - all on taxpayers' dime.
Congress shouldn't worry about trying to insure every American with money we don't have. They should be more worried about REFORMING the existing system. They should get rid of the bureaucracy, not create it. They should weed out those who abuse the system, frivolous lawsuits, and allow more competition among the health insurance companies. Those are things things they should be worried about, not going against the collective voice of the American People!

Obama the Pimp

This story is a couple of weeks old but it is worth mentioning since you won't hear it on any of the worthless, liberal news stations.
Republicans have suggested that the only reason that Obama appoint Scott Matheson to the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals is to buy the vote of his brother, Rep. Jim Matheson (D-UT). Matheson, who calls the accusation "absurd", was a no vote on the health care bill, a vote that the White House desperately needs to reverse. Mediamatters.org calls the accusations "baseless" and claims that there is no evidence to support it. The White House also called the claim absurd and said that Matheson is plenty qualified for the job. Well that might be the case, but don't you think it's a little fishy that the same day that the WH invites Jim over, Scott is appointed to the job? A position that had been vacant since August 2009? They must think we're really dumb.
Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., on Thursday called for an "independent investigation" into the nomination during an appearance on Fox News. “What in the world is going on in the White House?” she said on CNN on Wednesday. “Because today, the president offered a judgeship to the brother of a member of Congress. Tonight, the president has that same member of Congress at the White House pressuring him to change his vote on health care. We really need to have an independent investigation into this matter, because we've seen the Cornhusker Kickback, the Louisiana Purchase, the union loophole and now the big question is, is the White House trading health care votes for judgeships?”
It is possible that it could have been coincidence, as mentioned by Michelle Malkin, a conservative blogger. But if that's the case, a few red flags should have gone up, and common sense prevail. But, as many of us know, the WH seriously lack some common sense. They are either stupid or corrupt. I vote for both.

I'm becoming a Muslim

So I'm now going to become Muslim. To clarify, the next time I go through an airport, I'm just going to claim that I'm Muslim and carry a Koran that I'm going to buy off the internet for 10 bucks. I'll tell you why.
It turns out that C.I.A.R. (council on American-Islamic relations) has struck a deal with the TSA that Muslims don't have to be subjected to a body scan. Hmmm....
I'm not one for profiling or anything, but isn't it because of radical Muslims that we are having problems with security (notice that I said radical)? I don't see anyone worried about radical Jews, or radical Buddhists, or even radical Rastas (thank goodness, because Rastas are some crazy dudes already). Last time I checked, it was radical Muslims that brought the towers down, that crashed into the Pentagon, the blew up USS Cole, that tried to blow up countless other things, and that's just the USA alone, not counting all the other terrorist attacks in Europe. And it still doesn't count all the plots that have been thwarted.
So, like I said, all of these security problems are because of radical Muslims. So why on earth is the TSA going to omit all Muslims from being scanned (not that I agree with the scanning but if you're going to do it, don't exclude the people they were developed for)? So, instead of being scanned, they are just going to be patted down (yeah, like that has been working). So, to avoid those ridiculous lines, and the embarrassment of being seen naked under my clothes, I'm just going to claim that I'm Muslim, and then promptly laugh at those people stuck in line being viewed naked.

Obama's first year

So how has Obama done in his first year in office? In order to properly analyze that, lets take a non-partisan look at the things that he has promise to do during the presidential campaign and the things he promised not to do with what he actually has done and hasn't done.

First off, one of thing things he promised during the campaign was to pass Cap and Trade: a law that would put limits on the amounts of co2 that the country (when regarding companies) can emit.

Cash for Clunkers was a good idea...in theory. Im sure someone in the Obama administration though it was a good idea to entice people to trade in their old cars for new fuel-efficient ones. However, just like anything else the goverment tries to do, it was not completely thought through nor executed.
First off, did they even consider where they would get the money from to offer those rebates? So once again, the country goes more into debt.
Second, did anyone consider that people actually make money off those clunkers. That people actually sell them. Now all their potential inventory is being destroyed.
Third, did they consider the environmental impact that destroying all those cars would have?

And finally, in true government fashion, only a small percentage of dealerships have even been reimbursed, show to everyone how much they can rely on government.

So I say to cash for clunkers: GOOD RIDDENS!

My thoughts on the proposed health plan

First, I must say that I understand that the current health system we have has its flaw. Major flaws. Insurance companies are too busy worrying about making a buck than helping people. However, the plan Obama and the demobots are trying to push is not the answer. I'll tell you how.
First off, health care and the medical system in the country is very complex. When buying a house, does a person jump on the first for sale sign seen? Or is there a lot of research that goes into it, many factors to consider. When buying a car, does a person just want the first car seen, or is time taken to make sure its a good buy?
Why are the demobots trying so hard to pass this thing so quickly. Take your time, guys! This is something that cannot be screwed up! Obama mentioned in his campaign that by the end of his term, he wants a new health care plan. Sounds good to me. Take four years to work at it, because that what it is going to require. Something like this cannot be done over night. I want the finished product that will last, not be trashed by the next president.
Here is my beef with the existing plan. First off, there is no money for it! So in an effort to have affordable health care, they come up with an unaffordable plan...? Just like when buying a house or a car, you find one that suits your budget (well, that's what is suppose to happen...). Beef #2: Single payer system doesn't work. Heck, socialized medicine doesn't work ever! I don't see people rushing to Canada for their superb health care. Just look at medicare/medicaid. Heck, just look at the VA! Imagine the VA, but on a bigger scale. Scary, I know. Beef#3, and this is a huge one: I don't want to pay for other peoples abortions, nor their sex change operations. HELLO? What does a sex change operation have to do with health? Since when do people risk dying if they don't get a sex change? Abortion is the same way. I do understand that sometimes abortion is necessary. That, I'm ok with. But when a girl wants to get an abortion because she got drunk one nights and slept with the taxi driver, sorry, I don't want to have to pay for your idiocy.
Beef#4: I don't want to pay for a rich persons' health care when they can pay for their own without problem. And you know what, I'm sure they don't want to pay for mine.
So, all in all, Government run healthcare will have the speed of the Postal service, the efficiency of the DMV and the sympathy of the IRS.

Now, I'm never going to be taken as a Obama Lover, but I'm going to have to agree with him about these Wall Street buffs getting $18 billion in bonuses at the end of last year Yes, with a "b". Now, I'm not bashing them for giving the bonus. That's understandable. But the problem is that when your industry is having all kinds of issues, and people are wondering if or when you are going to collapse, why in the heck are you giving out $18 Billion in bonuses?! And yes, that's a "b"! I tell ya, I don't know if these people are idiots or if they're just dumb. It's just as bad as AIG's executives taking a lavish vacation that cost way to much after taking some of the TARP funds. I just looks bad. When will these people start using their heads?

Reid to be Voted Out?

So it turns out that the Republicans in Nevada are starting to salivate. They have begun to mobilize, raise money, and get the word out that Harry Reid might be voted out of office when he is up for re-election next year (never has a years felt so far away).
A poll taken by the Las Vegas Review Journal shows that Reid's popularity had fallen so much that he is even below Bush in approval rating.
And I say good riddance. Reid is the appitomy of congressional arrogance. But his haughty nature has caught up with him. The democrats are going to have to find another leader in the senate because their beloved Leader is going to be ousted. And not a moment too soon. I wish that he was up for re-election sooner. I'm so tired of his antics.

Imagine if you didn't pay your tax for about 3 consecutive years, no matter how much you owed. What would happen to you? No doubt, the IRS would be hunting you down! But not this guy. Instead of being thrown in jail just like any other Joe Schmo in the country, he is nominated Treasury Secretary. Does that seem a little odd to anyone? But no one in congress seems to care except for a few Republicans. I'm sorry, but no matter what party you are affiliated with, you have got to notice that it has to be a little backwards to put a person who knowingly failed to pay taxes as SECRETARY OF THE TREASURY!!! Oh, but he claims that he didn't know that he didn't pay the correct amount. So instead of putting a thief as Secretary of the treasury, you put an idiot who doesn't know how much taxes he should pay? Oh yeah, he blames it on his accountants. Well he should have been a little bit more concerned about where his money is going and making sure that his taxes were being paid. But he didnt. Now he is in charge of our money?! And then once he knew that Obama was going to nominate him, he went and paid the $34,000 that he still owed. So that means he knew about it, yet did nothing about it until he knew that if he didn't do anything about it that he would be denied the position. These congressmen are such idiots! Now we're going to have a knew tax evader as Secretary of the Treasury.
Not to mention that fact that he had an illegal working in his own house!

I'll give it to Bush. Even though he will go down in history of one of the least-liked presidents due to wars, and recently the tanking economy, I'll admit this. He has kept the country safe. When Clinton did nothing to rein in the ever growing Bin Laden threat, Bush had to deal with it within months of taking office. He showed great compassion and leadership in the days after the attacks of 2001, offering the country hope and consolation knowing that those responsible would be brought to justice. Hence the Afghan war which no one seems to be protesting because we knew why we are there, even though it has been dragged on.
But yes, he did keep us safe. And he did that by rounding up suspected terrorists, and keeping them in prison while using certain techniques to get information out of them. People seem to forget or overlook that. People complain about his waterboarding, but they don't realize that it is because of that and things like it that we are able to get information out of them and prevent other terrorist attacks. What would you rather have: an attack on American soil resulting in the death of thousands of Americans or some guy getting dunked in the water a couple times? And the ACLU wants to complain about the detainees not having trials. First off, the A in ACLU stands for American. Most of these guy aren't American and have no claim on Habeus Corpus or any rights under the Bill of Rights or Constitution. And obviously, they're there for a reason. But there are a few people there wrongly...collateral damage.

Well, it seems that Uncle Obama is not living up to the promises he made to his liberal followers, which sounds good to me.
Liberals and leftists are becoming more wary of Obama, even angered that he has been stiffing them on cabinet and other positions. It is beginning to seem like that man who promised to bring change is just borrowing from the two men before him.
Not only that, all those things that he promised the liberals he will do when he gets into office are being reversed. Obama has reversed pledges to immediately repeal tax cuts for the wealthy and take on Big Oil. He’s hedged his call for a quick drawdown in Iraq. And he has reniged on his promise to repeal the Bush tax cuts and redistribute that money to the middle class and roll back tax cuts for people making over $250,000 a year.
He has also filled his security positions with supporters of the war: Hillary Clinton, who voted to authorize force in Iraq, as his secretary of state, and President George W. Bush’s defense secretary, Robert Gates, continuing in the same capacity.
So it seems to me that Obama said things during his campaign, and made promises to be able to get people on his side, but after he is elected, he doesn't follow through on those promises. Typical politician. But I am glad that he is not. I guess he is realizing that this country is naturally center-right (center-left now) and that in order to appease most of the population, and not tear this country apart due to poor personel and policy choices, he would have to renig on a few things. Either that or he was just being manipulative.

Obama's Senate Replacement Must Be Black

According to smarty-pants on the left, Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Ill., the Senate seat left by Obama must be filled by either a Black or a woman and is insisting that Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich complies. That's nice and all, by why? Why are you going to drive a potential wedge between the prospective white and black contenders for the seat. Why are you going to make it about race? I understand that there is no longer any blacks in the Senate, but why insist that someone put a black in for that reason?
Or how about a black man earns the seat the old fashioned way and earn it by election instead of having it handed to him. Hasn't that been the problem with blacks since slave times? Always waiting for a white man to hand him something because he can't do it himself? Well, I guess Rush thinks that. What the governor needs to do is find the man or woman of whatever race best suited for the job and appoint that person. I think that is smarter than worrying about appointing a minority and having them not be suited for the job.

Prop 8 Opposers Target LDS Church

It's been nearly a month since Prop 8 was upheld in California, yet protests and demonstrations have been continuing. There have even calls to boycott "all things Mormon". The protesters acknowledge that the Mormons aren't the group that donated time and money to passing the amendment, but the reason that they focus on them so much is because the donated the most time and money, more than any other church or group. In fact, the church donated $25 million, more than half of the $40 million donated, and provided ground troops.
But what gets me is that they are only targeting the LDS church, even though 70% of blacks and 50% of Latinos voted for it, and many organizations like Knights of Columbus National Headquarters in Connecticut and Focus on the Family in Colorado supported it. Not to mention the fact also that Mormons only account for 2% of the population in California.
These people have no respect. When the Supreme Court in California ruled that same sex marriages were legal earlier this year, I didn't see any protests. I didn't see Mormons protesting gay bars. But what did they do? They organized. They used strategy. They sent letters to other members. The members got involved with the Yes campaign in an unprecedented way — both in terms of volunteer time and dollars. Not with hateful signs and yelling.
It just comes down to them needing a scapegoat. Someone to blame. They feel that the Mormons are hate mongers and bigots. They see the Mormons as a way of taking out their aggression. But they look like a bunch of idiots because they can't handle the fact that most people in California, one of the most liberal states in the Union, still believe that marriage is and should be between a man and a woman. Something I believe.

Ok, so Obama must think we're all idiots or something. Within one week, Obama has pushed a bail-out for Citi-group, and has strongly strongly advocated and urged congress to pass another huge stimulus package (which I myself don't advocate and will still compain about it even as I take the check to the bank).

But this is what gets me. While Obama has been more than happy to give away billions upon billions of taxpayer dollars, he wants to promote fiscal restraint? Doesn't restraint mean that you will hold back from spending? Since when does big spending and budgeting to together?
Put yourself in this senario: you come home one day and look at your finances and you see you're way in debt and over your head. Would you turn to your spouse and say "Lets go to the mall!!" Or would you say, lets cut some spending and adhere to a budget. For some reason, our government doesn't think like that. They for some reason think that more spending is the way to get out of this.
Now, I understand that the consensus says that we should worry about the defici and that it is necessary to have to spend all this money in order to evade a recession, but the thing is that we shouldn't be in the situation in the first place! So now as we ignore the deficit, our credit rating goes down the toilet and inflation goes up because we have to print more money. I hope these people in Washington wake up soon.

For the passed 18+ months, Obama has been running his campaign on the basis of change. "Change we all can believe in" and "Change we need" has been the battle cry of the democrats. So lets examine the change that Obama has instilled. First off, he chooses as his vice president a senator that has been in Washington for 36 years which ranks sixths among all senators. His chants of Washington being broken are negated by his choice of a washington super-insider. After being elected, Obama chose as his White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, a Chicago-born investment banker (those chicago politicians seems to stick together). But this does not exemplify change, either. Rahm Emanuel was the senior advisor to Clinton when he was in office. Change? I think not. Just recycling. The other cabinet members that he plans on bring in may bring more years of Washington to his administration thatn even Clinton's and Bush's. Here are a few examples: Tim Daschle, a 30-year Washington veteran, to be his secretary of health and human services, and former deputy attorney general Eric Holder, a 20-year Washington veteran, to be his attorney general. And lets not forget Hillary and her 15 years of Washington. So someone please explain to me what change he is bring. He's pushing for all these bail-outs and stimulus checks and you know who else has been? Bush. So no change there. Several members of his cabinate were formerly a part of the Clinton administration. No change there. So someone wake me when he actually does something.

I'm am so tired of all these bailouts! What the heck?

Whats with all these companies who have made poor business decisions getting money from a government that doesn't have any money to give?! I'll deal with that later. But for now, lets talk about these idiot companies and the incompetent fools giving them money.

First off, if I were Lehmann Brothers, Id be upset. How is the government willing to bail-out all these other banks and let me fall?

Anyway, back to the bail-out rant. Since when is it governments job to meddle into private businesses? With taxpayer money at that! Businesses fail all the time. And if a large bank fails, it deserves to do so. All these banks that are having trouble are guilty of giving sub-prime loans to people who they know wont pay back. Now, I know that's not all their fault. You have idiots like ACORN forcing the banks to give loan to minorities. It would be nice if everyone could own a home, but you cant give someone a loan that they can't afford! But the banks should have made better choices, and they should have exposed the actions of groups like ACORN.

Here is the first mistake the government made: they started bail-outs. So now you have all these companies begging the government to give them money they don't even have. Now, not just are companies begging for non-existing money, but the state of California is begging for a $7 Billion bail-out. It seems like the Terminator has terminated his brain. You see what happens: California did all kinds of deficit spending on stupid things like prisons, and now they're begging for this bail-out.

And, now back to the government actually giving money. The government thinks that they can give all these people money and it wouldn't be a problem. Except there are. 3, in fact. First, money that has been given is taxpayer money. Taxpayer money should not be used to intervene in private business! If they fail, let them fail. #2: of the money that's not taxpayer, it's borrowed.
So now the government is borrowing all this money and is going to mess up their credit rating and not be able borrowing until it is repaired. Not to mention the fact that those who gave the government the money will own the country. #3: of the money that is not taxpayer nor borrowed, it is printed which leads to, as we all know, a weakened dollar and inflation.

It's time that we get some sensible people in congress. But who knows what Pelosi and Reid will do with Obama in the Oval office. I wish we could just throw everyone who has backed the bail-outs out and started over.

Why am I not surprised?

During the vetting for cabinet positions, Obama's transition team has a 63 question personnel questionnaire form. That seems normal. However, one of the questions asks the person their views on gun ownership. It's started already. Obama has shown that he does not the second amendment as is, and he is potentially surrounding himself with people who share the same believes. Bad news for gun owners. Gun sales are already up over 15% since election day. There is also news on a heavy tax that potentially could be placed on ammunition. More bad news for gun owners.

Ok, as most people have heard (those who actually follow news), the execs from the 3 big auto makers in America flew to D.C. IN PRIVATE JETS to beg the gov't for a bailout in the form of taxpayer money (isn't panhandling illegal in D.C.?). During the hearing, Democratic Representative Gary Ackerman of New York noted the irony in in seeing private luxury jets flying into Washington, D.C., and people coming off of them with tin cups in their hand by saying: "It's almost like seeing a guy show up at the soup kitchen in high hat and tuxedo. It kind of makes you a little bit suspicious."But here is what get me out of all this. While the execs were begging for the multi-billion dollar bailout, they mentioned that they were willing to only take $1 as salary to get this to pass. Here is what I was thinking when I heard this: the American auto makers have been losing money for years now. Do you think that these deep pocketed execs would say to themselves "hmmm my company is losing money. Let me reduce my salary by a few million to help it out."But no. They were too greedy. But all of a sudden they are willing to take only a dollar as salary? Sorry, boys. You're about 3 years too late. So now, because of your greed, and also the idiotic demands of the UAW, taxpayers have to pay for a bailout? I don't think so.

Since the election of Barack Obama, there has been news reports of increase in FBI background checks of gun buyers fearing an Obama administration would change gun laws, even in the country's economic condition. According to CBSnews.com, Several variables drive sales, but many dealers, buyers and experts attribute the increase in part to concerns about the economy and fears that if Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois wins the presidency, he will join with fellow Democrats in Congress to enact new gun controls. In Las Vegas alone, there has been a 15% increase in gun sales.
I don't know about you, but I'm about to get mine before his inauguration.

Obama is meeting today with his economic advisers in Chicago. Chances are they are going to discuss the best way to raise taxes for the middle class without them noticing. Don't get me wrong, they are going to cut taxes for the M.C., but what they don't tell you is that they are going to let the Bush tax cuts expire, which will aggregately raise taxes on the middle class. They are also going to entertain the myth of "trickle up" economics. "Cutting" taxes for the middle class is a start, but raising taxes on the upper class (those that make 250k+, I mean 200k+, I mean 150k+, I mean 120k+) will not help the economy. Last time I checked, I, nor anyone I have ever met, have been employed by a poor person. Raising taxes on small business, payroll, and capital gains does not make any sense. That will cause companies to lay off workers, or worse yet, close. That will cause people not to invest as much in the market because they would be taxed more. When you ask all those Kool-Aide drinking Obama supporters about why they support him, they always talk about his oratory skills, not his policies. They don't even know what his policies are. I've heard Michael Medved stump countless people by asking them why they REALLY support Obama. All they can talk about is how he touches them when he speaks, how he was a community organizer and all that. But ask them about his policies and they don't know. Especially those first time voters who are being swayed because it is "cool" and "the thing to do" to vote for Obama. Looks like a generation of intellectually blind followers have been bred, not intellectually sound leaders.

Obama made his first move today by confirming his choice as chief of staff Rahm Emanuel. Many people applaud this as a solid choice, seeing that he is more moderate that is Obama. Senator Lieberman met with Maj. leader Harry Reid today to account for his endorsement of McCain and to discuss his future with the party, according to CNN.com.
Said Lieberman afterward, "The election is over, and I completely agree with President-elect [Barack] Obama that we must now unite to get our economy going again and to keep the American people safe." Said Senator Reid, "While I understand that Sen. Lieberman has voted with Democrats a majority of the time, his comments and actions have raised serious concerns among many in our caucus."
Here is the thing: Lieberman turned independent before endorsing McCain, so what are the 'crats crying about? They didn't have a problem with Colin Powel, who is "republican" endorsing Obama. That's ok. But if one of their guys, correction, use to be one of their guys, backs McCain, then that a sin! Im tired of all these double standards that the left loves to use.

My political beliefs are solely based around my religious belief. First off, I have one kind and one master who is Christ Jesus. No government, whether democratic, fascist, or communist, can replace that. I believe in limited government, and supply-side and laissez-faire economics. I believe that abortion and gay marriage is an abomination before God. I am a supporter of our 2nd amendment rights. I am a true believer in the American Dream. I believe in welfare, social security, education, and immigration reform. I believe in a flat consumption tax (if it works for God (tithing) that it should work for man). I am not a proponent of war but I believe it is necessary in certain situations. I believe in Individual responsibility, autonomy, and reliance upon self, family, and God. I believe that abstinence is something that should be taught in schools. All in all, I believe in God.

The Morning After

It didn't really hit me until this morning that we are going to have a liberal as president. Not only a liberal, but the most liberal in the Senate. What gets me the most is that even some republicans voted for him. Talk about disenfranchisement. I feel as if America is going to regret the choice at some point in time, when people realize how far left he is. What upsets me the most how ignorant most Americans are to politics. Approach a random person, and ask them if they know what socialism is. Ask them if they know what infanticide is. Ask them if they know what freedom the second amendment gives us. They won't know. But give it a few months and they will see.
